Smalley's Taxidermy Studio of Weatherford, Oklahoma was started by Dick Smalley in 1967. At a young age, Matt, Dick's son, started working in his dad's shop doing small jobs while learning the trade of taxidermy from his mentor.
After Dick's passing in October 2000, Matt took over the family business. Matt continues to practice the trade today for the general public, as well as numerous hunting ranchers.
